Instead of being immersed in sound from a distance, the bowls are placed on specific points of the body, often aligned with the chakras, allowing the vibrations to move through your energy centres and physical tissues. ​ Many describe it as receiving an “inner massage” without pressure or manipulation, just resonance working with your body’s natural rhythms and energetic flow. How it Differs from a Sound Bath? ​ Sound Bath: immersive, collective, hands-off, surrounding you in sound. Sound Massage: one-to-one, body-based, vibrations placed directly on you for a more physical impact. Both approaches aim to regulate the nervous system, support emotional balance, and restore a sense of harmony. The choice comes down to whether you prefer a collective experience or a more personal, tactile one. Benefits of Sound Massage: - Reduces stress and tension held in the body - Supports emotional release and grounding - Encourages deep states of relaxation - Can ease muscular tightness and promote circulation - Helps reconnect mind and body when you feel disconnected - Realigns and balances the chakras - Complements practices like Reiki, meditation, or talking therapy What to Expect in a Session: ​ You’ll remain fully clothed and be invited to get comfrotable either lyting on a soft mat on the floor for sound massage, or on a therapy bed for Reiki integrated sessions. I’ll place tibetan singing bowls and other instruments gently on or near key chakra points and areas that hold tension. The vibrations travel through you, helping to harmonise energy flow while releasing physical and emotional tightness. Sessions are peaceful, intuitive, non-invasive, and always guided by your comfort and what your body needs that day.
